I was hoping Instagram would stay down...

At least for the rest of the week.

It was so loud. So much noise. I was feeling so overwhelmed!

Until Monday. Monday was quiet. So peaceful.

I started to hear my own creative thoughts again.

I stopped questioning my own intuition as much.

I realized I have been secretly begging for an excuse to take a break from social media for quite sometime. But, how can I? I run my business on Instagram?!

I realized I had been putting off so much of what I want to bring into this world because of the limitations and distractions that the app brings.

I am realizing that I had put so much energy into building my life's work on shifting sand.

It is time I build a firmer foundation.

It is time to tell my story.

It is time to share my secrets.

I look forward to the words that fall out of my spirit and onto these pages.

I look forward to introducing myself to you in a way that allows for me to fully express myself.

Moving Bravely means "being in forward motion with a willingness to endure pain and discomfort that comes along the way".

It also means walking your own unique path even if it terrifies you.

I won't be walking away from Instagram altogether, just shifting how I use the platform.
