ME

Building the structures that allow leaders to move bravely through the unknown.
Hi, I am Lauren. I help founders, nonprofit directors, and corporate leaders navigate the messy middle of change with clarity and courage.
Change is rarely just a transition; it is an invitation. But for most leaders, that invitation feels like an overwhelming burden of what ifs.
When the path gets blurry, momentum usually stalls in one of three ways:

-
The head-in-the-sand response: Avoiding the discomfort of an unwanted or difficult shift.
-
The paralysis of choice: Having so many exciting possibilities that you cannot decide which path will actually sustain your momentum.
-
The pressure of the present: You are wearing every hat and keeping the daily engine running. Because the right now is so demanding, you cannot stop to help yourself build the processes and structures that would actually give you your time back.
Without a clean, simplified, or unified way of doing things, even routine tasks carry heavy friction. The big-picture change gets pushed to the side, lingering as a source of quiet anxiety while you remain stuck doing everything in the moment.
I believe that where others see a dead end or an overwhelming maze, there is always a way through. My work is rooted in a possibility mindset: the conviction that even the most chaotic transitions hold the seeds of something better. I do not see change as a project to be survived; I treat it like a map waiting to be drawn.

The bridge: from clinical roots to tech systems
My approach is unique because it was forged in the high-stakes world of human transitions. With a Masters in Social Work and a decade as a Clinical Director in the nonprofit sector, I learned early on that the hardest part of any shift isn't the logistics: it is the people.

I later brought this lens to the tech talent ecosystem, helping individuals upskill to become competitive in an evolving market. It was here that I found my North Star. While I was preparing talent for the industry, I was also listening to the strain within the organizations themselves. I heard the founders, the builders, and the enterprise leaders struggling to keep up with their own growth.

I realized that whether you are a startup founder or a corporate executive, you do not just need better tools; you need the structural mapping to remove friction and move through uncertainty.

Consulting + execution
Most people hire a consultant when they want a plan, but they hire an executor when they need to get it done. I believe you cannot have one without the other in the middle of a transition.

Moving Bravely is my approach to change management. I provide the strategic advisory you need to see the patterns you are too busy to notice, but I also jump in as a project-based partner to help you build the systems, document the processes, and execute the solutions. I am here to ensure the map we draw actually leads to a destination.

The Moving Bravely philosophy
The name Moving Bravely is not just a brand; it is my personal compass. After losing my mother and navigating profound grief, I learned that moving forward does not mean having all the answers. It means having a structure that allows you to take the next step even when the path is invisible.

I have spent my career noticing patterns in the chaos. I am passionate about building the systems that make sense of the unknown, giving leaders the confidence and the efficiency to keep moving forward.
